David Whitehurst (born April 27, 1955 in Baumholder, Germany) is a former quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Packers in the 8th round of the 1977 NFL Draft. A 6 ft. 2 in. quarterback from Furman University, Whitehurst played seven seasons with the Packers from 1977-1983. He was with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1984 but saw no action.

His son Charlie played quarterback for Clemson University and is currently the 2nd string quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks. He was recently traded to the Seahawks, and signed to a 2-year, $10 million contract.
