Bush was signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent following the 2006 NFL Draft. He would subsequently be waived on September 2.

Packers Green Bay Packers[]

Bush was signed by the Green Bay Packers shortly thereafter in September 2006. Despite joining the team just a week before the season opener, Bush would be one of four rookies to play in every game during the season (joining A.J. Hawk, Daryn Colledge, and Tony Moll).

He has played mainly as a third or fourth cornerback and on special teams during his career with the Packers.

On March 13, 2009, the Tennessee Titans signed Bush to an offer sheet. The Packers matched the Titans offer on March 16 and Bush opted to stay with Green Bay.
